Changelog

History with one-click undo, zone export to templates and CSV, Versio support, and Sectigo zone detection for Openprovider.

DNSense changelog cover: the Time machine list of zone changes with a revert action

This release is mostly about undoing mistakes and moving records between zones without retyping them.

History with one-click undo

Every mutation on a zone is now logged: what changed, who changed it, and when. If a record was edited or deleted by accident, hit Revert on that entry and the zone goes back to how it was.

The feature shipped as "History" and is called Time machine in the app today.

Export a zone to a template or CSV

Zones can now be exported in two ways. A template is a reusable set of records you can apply to any other zone, which is handy for mail setups or standard hosting records. CSV is there for backups and for anything you want to open in a spreadsheet.

Versio support

Versio joins the list of connectable providers, so Versio-managed domains show up next to your Cloudflare, TransIP and Openprovider zones in the same overview.

Sectigo zones from Openprovider

Openprovider connections now also pull in DNS zones running on Sectigo nameservers. Those zones get a badge next to the domain name so you can tell at a glance where they are hosted.

Smaller improvements

  • Faster record loading on zones with a lot of records.
  • A pile of fixes for the mobile layout.
  • Direct navigation from the whitelabel overview into a specific environment.

What is next

We are working on support for Route53, DirectAdmin, Plesk and PowerDNS. The current list lives on the providers page. If yours is missing, let us know and we will look into it.
